Clogher (from Irish Clochar, meaning 'stony place';[1] /ˈklɔː.ər/,[2] /ˈklɒ.hər/[3]) is a village and civil parish in the border area of south County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. It lies on the River Blackwater, about 6 miles (10 km) from the border crossing to County Monaghan. It stands on the townlands of Clogher Demesne and Clogher Tenements.
