Slade Point is a coastal town and peninsular suburb in the Mackay Region, Queensland, Australia.[3][4] It takes its name from the Slade Point headland named by James Cook on his 1770 voyage. In the 2021 census, the suburb of Slade Point had a population of 3,450 people.[2]
Geography

The waters and inlets of the Coral Sea form the northern boundary and most of the eastern.[5]
