Hello. I have reliable sources (Campbell 1988, Hatfield 2023, Sibley 1978) that suggest the current article uses “chief” inaccurately. Hatfield calls him “governor of his pelinco.” I propose changing “chief” to “governor.” Also, Hatfield documents an attempt in 1663 to reduce him from governor to colonel. I would like to add a sentence about that. No birth year is known, so I suggest removing “1604?” from the infobox. Does anyone object? Kmtcp (talk) 20:47, 25 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]
