(born 11 july 1990) is a Curaçaoan politician and member of parliament of Curaçao, serving since 14 June 2021.

Early life and career

Prior to his political career, Seferina was active in the security and training sector.

From 2008 to 2019, he served as a soldier, where he gained experience in discipline, leadership, and national security.

From 2019 to 2021, he worked as an IBT (Integrated Professional Skills Training) instructor at the Training Institute for Law Enforcement & Security (ORV). In this role, he was responsible for training professionals within the law enforcement and security sector.

Political career

Seferina was elected as a member of the Parliament of Curaçao in the 2021 elections. The Parliament constitutes the country's legislative body and consists of 21 members.

Within the parliament, he has fulfilled various roles, including:

- Member of the Parliament of Curaçao

- Faction leader of Movementu Futuro Kòrsou (MFK)

As a parliamentarian, he participates in debates and legislative processes regarding national development and administrative issues.

Parliamentary work

In his work as a Member of Parliament, Seferina focuses on, among other things:

- economic development and sustainability

- social security, including pension provisions and the aging population

- good governance and transparency

- security and regional stability

- international relations within the Kingdom

Kingdom relations

Seferina is actively involved in inter-parliamentary cooperation within the Kingdom of the Netherlands. He participates in the Interparliamentary Kingdom Consultation (IPKO), in which delegations from Curaçao, Aruba, Sint Maarten, and the Netherlands hold consultations on shared themes.

In addition, he has been part of delegations that hold consultations with the House of Representatives of the States General and other institutions within the Kingdom.

Seferina is a member of Movementu Futuro Kòrsou (MFK), a political party active within the political landscape of Curaçao.

Personal

Besides his political activities, Seferina is active as a baseball player and has a strong interest in fitness and weight training (Gym). Little is known about further details of his private life in the public domain.
