Broken Social Scene is a Canadian indie rock supergroup, which was formed by Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning in 1999. It now amalgamates 19 people from other related acts, including Feist, Metric, The Dears, Stars, and others. Justin Peroff, drummer from Broken Social Scene, designed this tee exclusively for the Yellow Bird Project. All of the profits from the sale of this t-shirt will benefit Lake Ontario Waterkeeper, which is an environmental justice organization working to win back the right to swim, drink, and fish in every waterway. Broken Social Scene also contributed an unreleased song on a compilation CD called ‘At the Barricades’ entiteled 'Until It's Dead' which was released by Lake Ontario Waterkeeper to raise awareness for their cause.
