Fredericia Bench for Two

While the Danish manufacturer’s back catalogue is the subject of a Triennale Milano show this month, two relaunches focus on designer Nanna Ditzel. Bench For Two (€10,080), from 1989, and Trisse (€480), an oak stool, join the permanent collection in June.

To mark its debut at Milan Design Week, the Rosewood hotel group will honour Andrea Branzi – a founding figure of the Italian Radical Design movement. Objects That Speak, an installation at Via Carlo de Cristoforis 1, will focus on the ethereal rice-paper and bamboo- and maple-leaf lamps.

Designed in the early 1970s by Elio Martinelli and taken out of production a decade later, the Pallino table lamp (from €122) returns to the spotlight this month. The Italian lighting house Martinelli Luce is bringing back the playful adjustable design in five saturated colours.


Gubi P3 Lounge Chair and P3S Chaise Longue

In 1964, Italian designer Tito Agnoli collaborated with rattan specialist Bonacina 1889 to create the P3 Lounge Chair (from £999) and P3S Chaise Longue (£1,399). Now Gubi has relaunched the two undulating designs, with synthetic versions suitable for outdoor use.

“I wanted to play with the geometry of the quilting,” says Annie Hiéronimus, who designed the Sandra sofa for Ligne Roset (£3,888) in 1975. The collection – which includes an armchair and footstool – is being reissued and will debut at Le Design Défilé at Milan Design Week 2026 in April.

Dutch designer Ben Swildens was fascinated by the sculptural potential of sheet metal. The folded Pliée lamp (€650) he came up with in 1970 is the latest reintroduction by mother-and-daughter venture Source Édition – in polished stainless steel and white-powder-coated steel.
