Oliver Roeder

Commissioning Editor, FT Weekend Magazine

Oliver Roeder is an editor on FT Weekend Magazine, working on long-form features. Previously he led the paper’s US data journalism team.

Before joining the FT in 2022, Roeder was a Nieman fellow at Harvard and a senior writer at FiveThirtyEight. He holds a PhD in economics with a focus on game theory and is the author of Seven Games: A Human History.
