John Sedgwick
John Sedgwick

John Sedgwick is Managing Editor and is responsible for covering Hong Kong. He joined Ignites Asia in February 2012. He previously wrote for Eight Custom Media in Hong Kong, the Birmingham Post in the U.K. and Speedflex Media in Hong Kong. He received two highly commended awards in the "Journalist of the Year – Pensions Issues" and "Journalist of the Year – Investor Services and Technology" English categories at the State Street Institutional Press Awards in 2014. He has a BA in English Literature and Chinese Studies at the University of Leeds.

Ernest Chan
Ernest Chan

Ernest Chan is a Reporter covering Southeast Asia. He joined Ignites Asia in January 2019 and was previously a reporter at AsianInvestor, covering institutional investors and asset classes across Asia Pacific. He holds a master's degree in journalism from the University of Hong Kong and an MA in anthropology from the University of Toronto.

Roxanne Liu
Roxanne Liu

Roxanne Liu is a Ignites Asia reporter and covers China-involved asset managers from Hong Kong. She joined Ignites Asia in June 2024 after her roles at Reuters News, where she wrote about a variety of topics ranging from healthcare to M&A deals. She completed her master's degree at Medill School of Journalism, Northwestern University.

Jimmy Chow
Jimmy Chow

Jimmy Chow is a part-time translator for Ignites Asia, covering the Greater China market. He joined Ignites Asia in January 2022. He has been a freelance reporter and translator based in Hong Kong for more than ten years, covering real estate, banking and finance, and corporate governance. He holds a degree in Journalism from Hong Kong Baptist University and a master's degree in media studies from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Chloe Leung
Chloe Leung

Chloe is a London-based Data Visualisation Reporter for Ignites Asia and Ignites Europe. In this role, she analyses and visualises data trends relevant to the asset management and financial advising industries. She joined the team in 2021 after previously working as Interactive Journalist at the Times and the Sunday Times. She holds an MA in Digital Journalism from Goldsmiths, University of London.

Acer Batislaong
Acer Batislaong

Acer is a mass media writer for Ignites Asia. In this role, he covers the latest developments and trends in the asset management industry across Asia. Based in Manila, he joined Ignites Asia in September 2025. In his years of professional experience, he has written on diverse subjects ranging from pop culture and technology to foreign policy. Acer holds a bachelor's degree in film from the University of the Philippines.

Amy Sood
Amy Sood

Amy Sood is a reporter for Ignites Asia based in Hong Kong. She joined the team in July 2025 and was previously a reporter at the South China Morning Post's Asia desk, covering politics, economics, and social issues in Southeast Asia and India. She has also worked at Agence France-Presse and contributed to CNN and NBC News. She holds a master's degree in journalism from the University of Hong Kong and a degree in English Literature and Communications from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand.

Bella Ding
Bella Ding

Bella Ding is a reporter for Ignites Asia covering China-involved asset management from Hong Kong. She joined the team in August 2025. Prior to this role, she was an intern at Asian Private Banker, covering Asia-Pacific wealth management market, and was a mentee Bloomberg Global Business and Financial Journalism Mentoring Programme. She is a master's candidate in Media and Communications at London School of Economics and Political Science, and holds a bachelor's degree in International Journalism (Finance Concentration) from Hong Kong Baptist University.

Joe Morris

Joe Morris is a News Analyst for several Financial Times publications, including Ignites Asia, Ignites and FTfm. He has worked as an editor at several newspapers, including the New York Post, American Banker and Brooklyn Paper.

Gregory Shulas
Gregory Shulas

Greg Shulas is Director of Business Development at Money-Media. He is responsible for finding and researching opportunities for Money-Media to grow its business. Shulas also helps edit the Research Vault database for Money-Media publications and column submissions for Financial Advisor IQ and Ignites Asia. He previously served as Money-Media’s interactive editor, a company innovation catalyst, a senior reporter at Agenda and the FundFire wealth management reporter. Before joining Money-Media in March 2006, he was a staff writer for the Connecticut Post. Shulas has a BA in History, with a concentration in Journalism, from the University of Delaware.

Jonathan E. Braunstein
Jonathan E. Braunstein

Jonathan Braunstein is the Director of Sponsored Content at FT Specialist US, leading projects with partners in the asset management and insurance industries. He was previously editorial director for webcasts and has produced written and interactive editorial content across nearly all of FT Specialist US's publications. Prior to joining the company in 2005, Jonathan produced local TV news for Boston's NBC and Fox affiliates. He currently resides in his home state of New Jersey and is an alumnus of Brandeis University in Waltham, Mass.

Juliana Guarracino
Juliana Guarracino

Juliana is the Producer of Sponsored Content for FT Specialist. In this role, she coordinates the production of sponsored content, including paid posts, white papers, and webcasts, across FT Specialist's publications. She is based in New York. She joined FT Specialist in 2025 following a fellowship on the Special Projects team at Business Insider. She has previously written for publications including L'Officiel USA, Buenos Aires Times, and Honeysuckle Media. She graduated with a BS in Media, Culture, and Communication and a secondary degree in Romance Languages from New York University.

Hannah Glover
Hannah Glover

Hannah is Editor-in-Chief of FT Specialist. In this role, she works with various teams of journalists across FT Specialist US overseeing content, standards and newsroom operations. She joined the FT Specialist unit as a reporter in 2007 and has worked as managing editor at GatekeeperIQ and then Ignites before moving into her current post. Prior to joining FT Specialist, she worked as a legislative investigator for the New York City Council and as a reporter at the Meriden, Conn. Record-Journal.

Baptiste Aboulian
Baptiste Aboulian

Baptiste Aboulian is Group Editor at Money-Media with responsibility for Ignites Asia and Ignites Europe. He joined Money-Media in 2008. Prior to that, he was a UK correspondent for several European publications. Baptiste holds a masters in International Journalism from City University and a degree in History from La Sorbonne.

Greg Saitz
Greg Saitz

Greg is Investigations Editor for FT Specialist US. He oversees and assists with in-depth investigations across all the company's publications. He is based in New York and started at FT Specialist US in 2011, working at FundFire and most recently BoardIQ as managing editor. Before joining the company, he was a business writer for The Star-Ledger in New Jersey, covering securities fraud, Wall Street, bankruptcy and other topics. Earlier in his career he wrote about criminal justice and, on occasion, celebrity divorces during stints at newspapers in Florida. He holds a BS in Journalism from the University of Florida.

Sales and Marketing

Christopher Burke
Christopher Burke

Christopher Burke is Head of Sales for all FT Specialist subscriptions. Chris oversees sales and renewals for all FT Specialists. Chris has been with FT Specialist since 2007, when he was hired in a business development role for the events team. In 2012, Chris took sole responsibility for the Renewals department and shortly thereafter started managing key sales roles as well. Chris took on his current position as Head of Sales in 2019.

Jason Koo
Jason Koo

Jason is the Subscription Sales Executive that handles every subscription matters at Ignites Asia. He joined the Financial Times B2B team, now known as FT Professional in 2022, and transitioned to FT Specialist in January 2025. Jason has experience in both sales development and account development, covering the APAC market excluding Japan and Korea. He holds a BA in Criminology from the University of Surrey.

Catlin Sweeney
Catlin Sweeney

Catlin Sweeney is Vice President of Marketing at FT Specialist, where she leads the commercial and subscriptions marketing teams across brand, acquisition, retention, lead generation, partnerships, events, and product launches. She plays a key role in shaping marketing strategy and audience engagement across the company's portfolio of specialist publications. Since joining FT Specialist in 2013, Catlin has built deep expertise across marketing and management — launching new brands, growing subscriptions, and driving measurable impact throughout the business. She is based in New York and holds a BS in Advertising and Marketing Communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Renewals and Reprints

Ben Donnelly
Ben Donnelly

Ben Donnelly is the Relationship Manager for all subscription-based customers, ensuring favorable renewal rates and client relations. Ben joined FT Specialist with five years of sales and account management experience from NYC-based technology companies. He holds a BS in Marketing from The College at Brockport, State University of New York.

Christopher Howell
Christopher Howell

Chris Howell is the Director of Client Service & Reprints Manager. Chris is primarily focused on proactive efforts to help increase reader engagement and strengthen relationships with key contacts. He oversees our customer support team and handles reprints for all F.T. Specialist publications. He received his BA in Sociology from SUNY New Paltz in 2005 and his master's degree in Public Administration from CUNY John Jay in 2015.

Dennis Asselta
Dennis Asselta

Dennis Asselta is the Head of Financial Advertising Sales for the Financial Times. Dennis is responsible for managing the financial industry vertical and team, who work with partners on integrated advertising solutions across both the Financial Times and FT Specialist.

Jessica Truglia
Jessica Truglia

Jessica is the Senior Account Director for FT Specialist. In this role, she develops strategic advertising partnerships and drives revenue growth across key financial brands. She is based in New York and joined FT Specialist in 2015. As a top-performing sales executive, Jessica is recognized for driving exceptional business growth, unlocking new revenue channels, and delivering impactful, full-funnel media strategies across FT's global portfolio. Known for her client-first mindset and creative problem-solving, she consistently builds long-term value for partners. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business with a Marketing Concentration from Monmouth University.

Dorothy Von Ahnen
Dorothy Von Ahnen

Dorothy Von Ahnen is a Senior Account Executive at FT Specialist, where she manages advertising partnerships across the Financial Times portfolio, with a focus on FT's insurance verticals including P&C Specialist, Life Annuity Specialist and Health Payer Specialist. She works with clients to develop strategic solutions spanning digital, print, lead generation, and custom content. Dorothy joined the FT's New York team in 2022, bringing a strong background in both advertising and software sales. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.

Wyatt King
Wyatt King

Wyatt is an Account Director on the Financial Advertising team at the Financial Times. In this role, he is responsible for selling integrated advertising solutions across the Financial Times and FT Specialist, including digital, print, and content opportunities. Wyatt joined the team in December 2024, bringing experience from previous advertising roles at TIME and POLITICO. He graduated from Indiana University in 2017 with a B.S. in Journalism with a concentration in Advertising.

Matt Patrizio
Matt Patrizio

Matt is the Account Planner the financial advertising team. In this role he Collaborates with sales to interpret client RFPs, uncover strategic goals, and shape campaign briefs with clear objectives and KPIs. As well as be a support system for the team. He is based in New York, he joined FT Specialist in June 2023 as an account planner and this is his first job out of college. He graduated with a Marketing & Communications degree from SUNY Oneonta.
